Rosella 
A bright little rosella perches lightly on a slender eucalyptus branch, feathers glowing like a pocketful of Australian sunshine. Its ruby‑red chest melts into bands of gold and sapphire, each colour shifting like stained glass when the light catches just right. The bird tilts its head with that curious, friendly confidence rosellas always seem to have — as if it’s deciding whether to chatter, flutter, or simply enjoy the breeze.
Soft gum leaves frame the scene, their cool greens balancing the rosella’s brilliant plumage. There’s a sense of gentle movement in its tail and wings, as though it might hop or take off at any moment, but for now it’s perfectly still, letting you admire every bright, joyful detail. It feels like a tiny burst of bush magic, perched just long enough to be stitched or painted into life.
