Christmas Platypus 
Meet Ripplewish the Christmas Platypus, the merriest little river‑dweller in the whole billabong. With his soft cocoa‑brown fur, shiny blue bill, and bright, curious eyes, he paddles through the water carrying Christmas cheer wherever he goes.
Today he’s dressed for the season: a tiny red Santa hat perched between his rounded ears, and a peppermint‑striped scarf wrapped snugly around his neck. A sprig of wattle and eucalyptus is tucked behind his hat, giving him that perfect Aussie Christmas sparkle.
Puddles floats on his back like a little Christmas boat, proudly balancing a gum‑nut ornament and a star made from river reeds. Every so often he gives a happy splash—his way of laughing along with the kookaburras in the trees above.
He’s gentle, joyful, and full of wonder, bringing a touch of bushland magic to the holiday season.
