A bright‑eyed kelpie pup sits with his paws tucked neatly under him, tail curled in a soft question‑mark of excitement. His ears are perked high, one tilting just slightly in that classic kelpie way, as he watches a tiny butterfly dance in the air before him. The morning light catches the warm chocolate and tan of his coat, giving him a soft, sun‑kissed glow.

The butterfly hovers just above his nose — wings flickering like little stained‑glass petals — and the pup holds perfectly still, wide‑eyed with wonder. There’s a playful spark in his expression, as if he’s deciding whether to pounce, sniff, or simply keep watching this magical little visitor.

The whole scene feels gentle and full of curiosity: a moment of pure puppy delight in a quiet patch of field.
