Friesian Calf Looking Back Over Its Shoulder — Description
This little Friesian calf stands in the grass with its tiny legs planted wide, still a bit wobbly in that adorable baby‑cow way. Its glossy black‑and‑white coat is soft and fluffy, with the baby fuzz catching the light along its back. The calf has turned its head right over its shoulder, giving that irresistible wide‑eyed, curious look—as if someone just called its name.

One ear tilts forward while the other flicks back, adding to the sweet, slightly puzzled expression. Its big dark eyes shine with innocence, framed by long lashes, and a small pink‑tinted muzzle peeks out beneath a bold white blaze. The twist of its neck creates a lovely rounded curve through the shoulders, perfect for simple shading and kid‑friendly stitching.

Around its hooves, the grass brushes lightly against its legs, making the calf look even smaller and more endearing—just a gentle little Friesian baby pausing mid‑step to see who’s behind it.
