Dolphin
A sleek, joyful dolphin gliding forward with that unmistakable curved smile. The head has a smooth, rounded forehead (the melon), tapering into a long, elegant beak-like snout. The tip of the snout is softly rounded, giving the dolphin a friendly, approachable look rather than a sharp point.
The eye sits just behind the corner of the smile line — small, dark, and bright, with a tiny white catchlight that makes the dolphin feel playful and alive. The expression is open and curious, as if the dolphin is about to chirp a greeting.
The body begins to curve immediately behind the head, giving a sense of motion even in a still illustration. The dorsal fin rises smoothly from the back: tall, triangular, and slightly curved backward. The pectoral fins are rounded and paddle-like, positioned low and angled outward in a welcoming gesture.
Colouring is classic dolphin: a soft gradient from cool grey on top to pale silvery-white on the underside. The transition between the two tones is smooth and gentle, perfect for blending in paint or shading with thread. A subtle highlight along the top of the head and back adds that glossy, water-slicked look.
Overall, the dolphin feels playful, kind, and full of movement, ideal for a kids’ kit that balances realism with charm.Size: 16" x 16" (41cm x 41cm)

- Check the paint type – If you used fabric paint, it should be washable. If it's acrylic or another type, it may require extra care.
- Spot test – Dab a small, hidden area with water and mild soap to ensure the paint doesn’t bleed.
- Hand wash gently – Use cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing directly on the painted areas.
- Rinse thoroughly – Make sure no soap residue remains.
- Air dry – Lay flat in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
