Hi, I’m Jodie—an artist who stitches stories into fabric and symbolism into scrolls. This blog is a glimpse into my Guardian Suite, a project born from emotion, myth, and the quiet strength of animal archetypes.
There’s a quiet kind of magic in the way fabric holds memory. A frayed edge, a stitched line, a wax seal pressed with intention—these are more than embellishments. They’re echoes of something deeper.
In my Guardian Suite, I’ve created a series of scrolls, lore cards, and symbolic tags that explore the emotional landscapes we all navigate. Each piece is inspired by an animal archetype—like the koala’s gentle resilience, the seahorse’s quiet strength, or the dragon’s fierce protectiveness. These aren’t just designs. They’re companions. Reminders. Guardians.

Why Guardians
Because we all carry stories that need tending. Some are tender, some are wild, and some are still unfolding. I wanted to create art that doesn’t just decorate—it holds space. For grief. For hope. For transformation
The Scrolls and Lore Cards
Each scroll is hand-aged and sealed, carrying a message that speaks to the soul. The lore cards offer glimpses into the mythic qualities of each animal—blending personal reflection with universal symbolism. They’re designed to be tucked into kits, gifted to loved ones, or kept close as talismans
The Details Matter
Scalloped tags, gold-trimmed envelopes, wax seals—these aren’t just aesthetic choices. They’re part of the ritual. A way to elevate the experience and honour the emotional weight behind each piece.
This suite is for anyone who’s ever needed a reminder that they’re not alone. That their story matters. That healing can be beautiful.
Thanks for reading. I hope these guardians speak to something in you, too.
With heart,
Jodie
