Dragonfly Tote Bag
A graceful dragonfly hovers at the centre of the tote, its wings outstretched in a light, effortless pose. The wings are long and delicate, almost lace-like, with fine vein patterns that shimmer between soft silvers and pale blues. Each wing tapers to a gentle point, giving the whole silhouette a feeling of lift and movement.
The body is slender and segmented, shifting from deep teal at the head to a softer aqua or eucalyptus green along the tail. A subtle metallic highlight along the top of the body adds that sunlit, iridescent touch dragonflies are known for.
The eyes are rounded and bright, giving the dragonfly a curious, friendly expression rather than an insecty one. They sit close together, adding charm and approachability — perfect for a tote bag that feels artistic rather than scientific.
Around the dragonfly, soft brushstroke accents or tiny floating dots can suggest motion, breeze, or sunlight without cluttering the design. The overall effect is light, elegant, and nature‑touched, making the tote feel both stylish and handmade.Designs Copyrighted to GardenPath Stitchery

- Check the paint type – If you used fabric paint, it should be washable. If it's acrylic or another type, it may require extra care.
- Spot test – Dab a small, hidden area with water and mild soap to ensure the paint doesn’t bleed.
- Hand wash gently – Use cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing directly on the painted areas.
- Rinse thoroughly – Make sure no soap residue remains.
- Air dry – Lay flat in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
