Bernese Mountain Dog 
The Bernese Mountain Dog is a big, soft-hearted gentle giant, instantly recognisable by their tricolour coat—a deep, velvety black body, rich rust‑brown markings, and bright snow‑white accents that make them look like they’ve stepped out of a storybook. Their expression is always kind: warm brown eyes, a broad, friendly muzzle, and those slightly droopy ears that give them a permanently thoughtful look.
Their coat is thick, fluffy, and beautifully layered, perfect for capturing with soft shading or textured stitches. A classic Berner has:
•     White blaze running down the face
•     White chest shaped like a generous bib
•     Rust patches above the eyes (their “eyebrows”), on the cheeks, and on the legs
•     A big, bushy tail that sweeps gently behind them
Their posture is sturdy but sweet—solid paws, strong frame, and a gentle, loyal presence that makes them feel like the dependable friend of the whole forest.
